© Reuters. Dopo Nvidia e Samsung i cyber hacker puntano Vodafone
- Vodafone Group PLC (:LON:) sta indagando sulle affermazioni di Lapsus$ secondo cui il gruppo criminale avrebbe minacciato di effettuare una violazione dei dati, riferisce la CNBC.
- Il gruppo, noto per aver violato i codici sorgente dei dispositivi a marchio Galaxy di Samsung Electronics Co Ltd (OTC:SSNLF), ha minacciato di divulgare il codice sorgente di Vodafone.
- Inoltre, a febbraio il gruppo ha accettato la responsabilità per la violazione dei dati subita da NVIDIA Corp (NASDAQ:NASDAQ:).
- Il 7 marzo il gruppo ha lanciato un sondaggio sull’app Telegram chiedendo: “Cosa dovremmo far trapelare dopo?”, seguito da tre opzioni.
- La prima opzione sono circa 200 GB di codice sorgente di Vodafone; il sondaggio termina il 13 marzo.
- Le altre due opzioni sono il codice sorgente e i database della società di media portoghese Impresa e il codice sorgente delle società di e-commerce argentine MercadoLibre Inc (NASDAQ:MELI) e MercadoPago.
- Nel mese di febbraio la divisione portoghese di Vodafone ha subito un attacco informatico che l’ha costretta a interrompere i suoi servizi.
- Movimento dei prezzi: all’ultimo controllo, nella sessione pre-market di giovedì, le azioni Vodafone erano in calo dell’1,34% a 15,82 dollari.
