Bce, Pepp terminerà a marzo malgrado rischi variante Covid

S’AGARO, Spagna (Reuters) – La Banca centrale europea è ancora orientata a portare a termine il proprio programma emergenziale di acquisti di bond (Pandemic emergency purchase programme o Pepp) a marzo, malgrado i rischi connessi alla nuova variante del coronavirus, scoperta in Sud Africa, ha detto oggi il vicepresidente della Bce Luis de Guindos.

“Il Pepp finirà secondo i piani, con una dimensione da 1.850 miliardi di euro alla fine di marzo”, ha detto de Guindos durante un evento in Spagna. “Discuteremo le possibili alternative a dicembre”.
